Magda M. Theodate
Magda is a seasoned trade policy attorney, and global public procurement professional. She has 10+ years of experience working with international agencies to resolve public sector challenges affecting trade, procurement and good governance in lower and middle income economies. She's built a successful career working with institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank, Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development, and the World Bank, advising on public sector reforms in procurement, trade, policy & capacity building, in addition to competitiveness initiatives, legal framework modernization, and policy development. She is a regular contributor to the World Bank’s "Doing Business" report, which provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement through proper public governance, across 189 economies. Magda has led and/or facilitated training courses & workshops across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, and more recently, expanded her services to SE Asia to make trade and procurement transparent & inclusive. She's a dynamic professional and natural networker, who engages easily across cultures, and turns individual accomplishments into shared success.
